Morning Delights

As we rush through our mornings, we tend to miss a lot of sights that can help bring cheer to our day. We don’t need only beautiful valley views or beach sunrises to do that. All we have to do is slow down our pace and look around.
Walking to catch my office cab every morning, I get to see many such things which really inspire me for the day.
The innocence of a girl waiting for her school bus while holding her father’s hand as she chats away to glory with him. She tells him to come home early that day and when he asks her why, her answer is just like that so that we can go to the park and play. And then she carries on with a description about the park.
The ladies of the rows of houses as they wash their doorsteps and decorate it with beautiful, simple rangoli designs to welcome people to their house, not knowing they bring a smile to strangers passing by.
The laborers as they chatter away fully refreshed after a nights sleep and ready to start off a very hard day of work again.
When I finally reach my stop, there are always kids waiting for their school bus and entering it with such joy and excitement that you wonder where did all of that go from your life all of a sudden.
Ofcourse then the office cab comes and removes all doubt :)

  2. A typical Malita article.. Typical because you are observant and funny. A different take on the ignominous task of commuting along the hellish corridors of doom (Read Traffic) to office.. A nice style of writing with a nice end.. Looking forward to reading a lot more of these enchanting blogs from you..
